                In this article, we share results from a survey of 42 Meals on Wheels programs in rural areas across the U.S. Respondents highlighted challenges to meeting both social and safety needs of rural older adults living alone, as well as policy recommendations to improve the health and safety of older adults living alone in rural areas.
