The primary goal of this project is to create and map Census tract- and county-level childhood obesity rates using data from the 2016 National Survey of Children's Health. A secondary goal will be to compare childhood obesity rates by each county's urban vs. rural designation and explore regional differences (Northeast, Midwest, South, West) in childhood obesity overall and by urban vs. rural designation.
