Date:
Time: 9:00 am Pacific, 10:00 am Mountain, 11:00 am Central, 12:00 pm Eastern
Duration: approximately minutes

Rural residents have higher rates of disability and face unique barriers to accessing high-quality care. In this webinar, researchers from the University of Minnesota Rural Health Research Center will share results from a project examining access to care at the intersection of rurality and disability. These results include county-level analyses comparing disability rates, workforce shortages, and quality of care. They will also share results from the National Health Interview Survey examining differences in barriers to care and use of preventive services by rural-urban location and disability status. Additionally, two case studies of programs in Minnesota and Idaho that support the transportation needs of rural residents with disabilities will be discussed.

Registration

Registration is free and required. Attendance of the live webinar is limited to 500 persons. If you are unable to attend, you will be able to access the recording, archived on the Gateway website.
