Rapid Response to Requests for Rural Data Analysis
This cooperative agreement between the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and the Rural Policy Research Institute is intended to inform policy makers, community leaders, health care providers, and other rural leaders about health and human services policy issues.
About the Research Center
This center is one of the designated Rural Health Policy Analysis Initiatives. The center is built on the 35-year history of rural health services research at the University of North Carolina's Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research, and is able, through that relationship, to draw on the experience of a wide variety of scholars, researchers, analysts, managers and health service providers.
The Rural Health Research Centers are funded by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP). Currently, Centers are funded through a four-year cooperative agreement. This research Center has produced research products funded by FORHP during the following years.
