Objective Program Examination and Gap Analysis of Telehealth Resource Centers
The Objective Program Examination and Gap Analysis of Telehealth Resource Centers utilizes a mixed-methods approach to objectively examine all 14 Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) as a whole. The study will employ the Context, Input, Process, and Products model for program evaluation to guide the examination. The TRCs' goals and objectives as well as background (context) from the TRC authorization of 2002 will be used to guide how the study examines deliverables and outcomes of TRCs (products), with the following aims:
Aim 1. Report the state of the TRC program and identify potential opportunities for future program development in improving TRC services for expanding telehealth in the nation.
Aim 2. Conduct a needs assessment of current Regional Telehealth Resource Centers and National Telehealth Resource Centers.
Aim 3. Examine the TRCs' data collection process and data elements in order to provide recommendations to enhance TRC reporting.
