Rural-urban disparities exist across the spectrum of behavioral health providers. Holly Andrilla, MS, and Eric Larson, PhD, both from the WWAMI Rural Health Research Center, will present findings from a recently completed study quantifying Census Division differences in the per capita supply and distribution of five types of behavioral health providers, (psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and counselors) across metropolitan, micropolitan, and non-core counties.
