This toolkit is designed to enhance communication and dissemination of rural health services research. It includes approaches for both developing research-related documents and disseminating research results. The toolkit is designed to be a straightforward, easy-to-use reference guide and highlights common methods of packaging and dissemination information that are identified as important to key target audiences (e.g., policy makers, national health related organizations). The toolkit is based on information from the Rural Health Research Gateway’s National and State Audience Needs Study Reports, the RUPRI Health Panel meeting summary, and other resources. In year three of the Rural Health Research Gateway project, research dissemination on a local level will be examined and new findings will be added to the toolkit.
